A Message of Appreciation
“A three second exposure meant that subjects had to stand very still to avoid being blurred, and holding a smile for that period was tricky. As a result, we have a tendency to see our Victorian ancestors as even more formal and stern than they might have been.”
I’ve reblogged this before and I will reblog it again.
This is so great
((I apologize for the inconvenience but…grainy personal selfie of Sarsaparilla’s mod. I promise with all my heart that I will contribute for the this year’s Pony Winter Prom (Sassy has two dates), but currently, procrastination and artist’s block has taken a toll on me. @_@
Hope to update again soon. But in the meantime, sheer nylon.
I had commissioned this for Max Gilardi (hope I spelled his name right) aka HotDiggedyDemon back at San Japan anime convention.

Oh how I adore 90s Minnie Mouse, hearts and frills and bows and flowers and polka-dots and ruffles everywhere. Everything in pink and violet and pale blue and spring yellow. Slumber parties, tea parties, doll picnics, sweetness abound.
I wish Disney Channel would allow Minnie to have her own show, with Daisy and Clarabelle and Penny and Lilly, based on the Minnie ‘n Me books! Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in their younger years could join as well, think of how precious it would be.
Taking a quick break from the comic before things heat up too much, here are some studies of Clarabelle Cow I drew last year for fun, from two of my favorite shorts featuring her: Mickey’s Fire Brigade (1935) and Mickey’s Amateurs (1937).
And yes, my jaw hit the floor when I saw how pronounced her chest was in the second short. Hats off to you, Walt.
