I like how advertising is literally still exactly as sexist as they’re joking about in this comic from 54 years ago.
RIP Mickey Rooney
Mickey Rooney passed away today at age 93 from natural causes. He was an amazing actor who has been acting since 1926 and has not stopped. He started off in a bunch of silent film and got famous for doing films with Judy Garland when he was young. He went on to be in many many more films that we all loved. Recently he made appearances in The Muppets and Night at the Museum. He voiced some of our beloved characters in animated films, including Tod from The Fox and the Hound and Santa Claus from Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town and Year Without a Santa Claus. He will be missed, and now he can join his dear friend Judy Garland!
